Bullion Trader - Luxembourg Job - Banking

Job Specification
This Luxembourg based private bank and asset manager is looking to recruit a Gold Bullion Trader.

The Gold Bullion Trader uses the banks proprietary online exchange to trade bullion and precious metals. They will also be involved in trading on the main metals markets and will operate on a global basis. The second major remit for the Gold Bullion Trader is to manage the banks counterparty partners in the bullion trades. There will be an element of compliance, bank officer relationship management and supervising the back office process teams to this well paid Luxembourg banking job.

Through the application of some cutting edge software the Gold Bullion Trader can choose to be based in Luxembourg or to operate from a remote location of their choice. It should also be noted that the bank intends to reward the Trader with a bonus structure many bps above the norm. As such there is no desire to offer a basic salary either from the bank or will the successful applicant require it once the commission formula is explained.

To be considered for the Gold Bullion Trader you should have at least five years experience trading precious metals and bullion on the main metal exchanges. It is also expected you will have worked for an investment bank and understand the while process on conducting metal trades – into the middle and back office, beyond the simple process of making the trade. It would be beneficial if besides your fluent English you spoke another European language like French, Spanish, Russian, or German (Swiss German is also welcome). You will also be familiar with Euroclear, DTC and other clearing networks.
