Experienced Compliance Officer - Luxembourg Job - Banking

One of the larger Luxembourg based international banks is desperately recruiting a Experienced Compliance Officer to join its Grand Duchy Head quarters. This Luxembourg job is based in the centre of Luxembourg’s finance district.

The private banking arm of its business has a huge private client base with whom they offer a full range of banking, estate planning and investment management services. Covering this area they have a large Compliance Team and are planning to make this strategic appointment to boost their resources.

The Experienced Compliance Officer works in close concert with the banks overall Chief Compliance Director to ensure the productive use of the banks compliance policy and locate, then deal with potential risk and compliance issues as and when they arise. To do this should you be successful in your application for this well paid Compliance job in Luxembourg you can expect to have to undertake a number of duties and maintain several responsibilities. The internal processes of adhering regulatory standards, legislation (local & international) and to help shape the future direction of the banks compliance policies are central to all of this. There are a number of very sensitive operations which must be firmly monitored and you must actively seek to reduce risk as and where you find it. The bank has various teams operate a number of cross departmental compliance tools and you will take a lead in their evolution and development. Finally you will liaise with the relevant external stake holders and authorities as and when required.

For serious consideration for this senior exciting opportunity you should have five years or more success in a similar compliance role at another private bank. On top of that you will be a master in the detection of suspicious transactions and the use of the latest technologies to do so. You will be required to speak fluent French and English, and to be a full EU citizen.
