Fund Sales Director - Luxembourg Job - Fund

This internationally renown and successful Luxembourg based Fund Manager wants to recruit a Fund Sales Director to coordinate and lead the next stage of its growth.

Currently the firm has around four billion euros of assets under administration and a customer base made up of private and institutional investors from the amongst the European family offices, banks and asset managers. They have a reputation for innovative investment product offerings and aim to structure for their clients the most suitable fund from a mix of offshore funds and closed structures or investments.

The recruitment of a Fund Sales Director is a result of their desire to move to the next level and market themselves to the new emerging markets and potential clients. The Fund Sales Director will lead the acquisition of new clients and business partners from institutional investors like banks, independent Asset managers and family offices. The successful applicant to this well paid Luxembourg fund job will also be tasked with attracting new customers, for the above portfolio of selected third-party funds. Typically these clients will be drawn from a mix of international Pension funds, insurance companies, IFA's and / or other asset managers.

To achieve these overall goals the Fund Sales Director will take the lead upon all new business activity from client meetings, presentation of research to industry groups, trade shows, internet based presentations, liaison for the industry media and sales events like bespoke road shows and industry breakfast meetings in the worlds main finance centres. Once the new clients are on board the Fund Sales Director will lead the client retention strategy insuring customer loyalty and further investment.

To be considered you will have to show over the target success in the new client acquisition, director level consulting and care of other European private-label fund institutional partners and investors. It is expected you will have a minimum of five years experience in this type of fund sales job, have your own network of fund partners and a potential client base you can exploit.
