Job Specification

This Luxembourg based professional and investor services organisation is looking to recruit young, talented Investment Fund Manager to join their fund administration division.

The responsibilities of the Investment Fund Manager are centred upon developing and managing the Investment services business amongst the Luxembourg fund and fund administration industry.

In this well paid Luxembourg job your key duties will be orientated around the development and implementation of commercial procedures – to drive the business forward.

You can expect to have to work in close other business units including, but not exclusively, audit, fund administration, legal and various directors. You will work in collaboration with these bodies to set the definition and implementation of operational flows and associated controls. Finally as Investment Fund Manager you will be tasked with creating a team to support the organisations own brand funds.

To be considered for the Investment Fund Manager position you should be ideally between 30 and 35 years, educated to at least level BAC +4.

It is expected at interview you will be able to display a thorough knowledge of management mechanisms and / or governance of vehicles of investment funds / self-managed SICAV, FCP, the role of the Management Company and/or mutual fund.

Most importantly you should be able to point to at least an experience of 3 to 5 years in a department of central government and / or transfer agent of investment funds in a bank depository or another.

Individuals with a good understanding of structures SIF, SICAR, SPF, real estate funds and securitization vehicles can expected to be given preference. Finally you must be fluent in English and French.
