Senior Fund Accountant - Luxembourg Job - Accountancy

This international offshore trust & fiduciary services company is looking to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant to join its Luxembourg fund administration department.

As Senior Fund Accountant you will be asked to manage a dedicated portfolio of third party funds, hedge funds and offshore investment vehicles. It will also be your responsibility to undertake the monitoring of subscription and redemption activity for multiple funds and ensuring the settlement of transactions. In this well paid Luxembourg job you will undertake the management and coordination of alternative fund investments (capital calls etc.). You can expect to be involved in the calculation of investor capital balances and NAVs. It is expected you will prepare required statutory, performance and quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reports. As such you will liaise with necessary bodies and external regulators. Finally in this Luxembourg accountancy job you will prepare cash reconciliations with custodian banks.

The successful candidate for the Senior Fund Accountant job will hold a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance and have at least five years of proven experience of alternative fund administration. At interview you can expect to be asked to demonstrate a knowledge of IFRS and your proven experience in financial consolidation and meeting statutory reporting requirements. You must be willing to relocate to Luxembourg and speak fluent English and at least competent French.
